The Turn 2

“TURN
2” 2008 INVITATIONAL
On
behalf of the NH Comets, I'd like to say thanks to
all of you for
participating this year. I hope you all enjoyed the
Turn 2
this year as much
as we enjoyed hosting you. Our staff, including board
members, coaches,
volunteers, umpires, and sister organizations, worked
diligently to deliver
the best product possible. We'd like to thank Mark
Crisman and his grounds
staff for working tirelessly to keep the fields
playable. A
special thanks
goes out to Erik Stevenson from Concord Northeast. At
5am
both Saturday and
Sunday, Towle Field at Sanel Park was UNDER WATER. I'm
sure teams that
played the 8am games there those days are completely
unaware that was the
case. Although it was unfortunate that 20 of the 72
pool
games were rained
out on Saturday, we were very fortunate to play all 44
championship round
games on Sunday. In all, 96 of the total 116 scheduled
games were played.
About 30 minutes after the final 3 championship games
concluded, the skies
unloaded. Please give us feedback, on what you think
went
well and what you
think needs improvement, as this will help us improve
the
event. We wish you
all well, and hope you enjoy the remaining season and
summer.
